Growing Instructions:

  • Starting: Use one tablespoon of seeds per batch. Rinse seeds thoroughly in clean water to remove dust and debris. Rinse sprouts three times daily, allowing them to drain to prevent waterlogging.
  • Soaking: Soaking seeds for 8 to 12 hours before the first rinse can help break dormancy and start germination, though it's not strictly necessary.
  • Growing: Rinse sprouts three times daily to keep them fresh and mold-free. Drain well to ensure contact with oxygen. Use drained rinse water for houseplants as it contains beneficial enzymes.
  • Harvest: Sprouts are ready when the first pair of leaves (cotyledons) open. Expose sprouts to bright, indirect sunlight to develop chlorophyll and enhance nutrition. Rinse under cold water to remove seed husks. Use fresh or store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
